This unit joined Numbers 32, 34 and 36. Before 1900 Number 32 might even have joined with Number 28 as Refreshment Room/Restaurant !! Newspaper and RoM magazine adverts do not agree with shop numbers and with early Council Valuation Rolls being handwritten and subject to crossing out, it has been difficult working out who was in which shop and when. These are our interpretation of the occupiers but if you have evidence of a better explanation please let us know.
