Number 83-87 is a Category C Listed Building. Category C means it is of local importance. The listing, made in 1988, says earlier 19th century with alterations ... ground floor shops modern ... single column at NW angle (No87) ... 2 storey and symmetrical at 5 bay first floor.... tripartite windows in 2nd and 4th bay... small paned sashed in 2 bays nearest No 87 ... 2 shallow dormers to Nos 83-85
